Mary was a GREAT person, to say that this nasty wh0re is anything close to being her is insulting. Angelina is a horrible person, she use to talk about her sex life like she was a skank (and still is on). You can now add homewreker to her line of work…I hate her and I feel this photo is insulting to mother Mary, who else feels this way?

The painting is nice, but celebrity worship is unhealthy.
Two of the ten comandments states that "You shall not make for yourself an idol" and "You shall have no other gods before Me".
Therefore it is an insult.

Obviously you got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. No where in that article does it say Angelina Jolie had anything to do with the painting. The artist choose to use Jolie's face because she is a famous face and the painting is about "celebrity worship". You should just be glad the painter didn't paint in Brad Pitt as Jesus.

Well, I think the painting is funny and does make a comment about celebrity worship. It does not compare Angelina Jolie to the Virgin Mary in any way whatsoever, but because of stupid people it is getting a lot of attention and will probably make the artist a bit of money. Good for her. Are you doing adversising for her site or something?

This is just a painting. There is no way that she would be idolized like Mary, the mother of Jesus. Although I don't idolize Mary, as she was an unmarried mother. Neither would I idolize Angelina.

Who cares? You are adding to her celebrity status by posting this question. And who are you to judge? Are you a perfect person? She didn't ask for this to be painted. I don't like or dislike Angelina Jolie. I don't even know her...not personally. Do you know her personally? Do you not have anything better to do than to judge other people you don't even know? yes, and calling people names and casting stones...is so completely christian. and if you look at the reason for the painting...that is if you can read, the woman who painted it was not comparing her to Mary, or stating that she felt angelina jolie was like mary, she was stating it was ridiculous as to how celebrities are put on a pedestal.
