Sorry that I can't answer you in Italian, but English is a very strange language (even those of us who speak it naturally don't always speak it correctly) and Italian is awesome so one thing that would help would be to learn common phrases and sayings (because we use them a lot and usually don't speak "proper" English on a daily basis) and some general slang, and with a little more practice you should be fine. I can understand you enough (and more than the way some of my friends who know English well speak) so you don't need to worry too much.
