Calcuttans or even Bengalis. All Calcuttans are not Bengalees. Calcutta / Kolkata is a cosmopolitan city. Where the hell does that (answerer) Ramsay J....hail from ???!!! Only idiots call "Bongs". That term Bongs (heard it a lot) is a typical slang and it sucks.

kolkata and calcutta is the same, people here like both names, people of calcutta, who originate from this place and speak bengali are bengalis, everyone else just simply belongs to calcutta whatever language they may speak....oh and yes we are all proudly indian first ... :)
