because to many ppl are misinformed and ppl who smoke pot believe that it cant hurt them.it is very addictive and gets you into a lazy cycle both physically and mentally.it causes many mental problems and lying can be part of that.pot is the scourge of our society not hard drugs as many ppl believe.i'm not saying hard drugs are good either,but at least ppl know hard drugs are bad for you.mix pot and alchohol you have a recipe for disaster.i know all the brain dead pot heads out there will say what a load of crap but theres the biggest part of the problem they convince themselves that theres no harm in it.think about it?how many ppl do you know that have ruined thier lives(whether it be financially,lost family or rtelationships,jobs,friends) through pot as compared to ppl who take hard drugs?and be honest.

They probably have good intentions to quit. But you have to realize its an addiction. And this is what makes it hard for people
