no, they are not the same. terry goodkind was not as good as RJ, if you ask me, but that's a matter of opinion

besides that, terry goodkind is still alive

They are not the same their styles are definitely distinctive. To the guy above me Robert Jordan isn't dead...though he does have a rare form of cancer.
