Every organisation must maintain its confidentiality. Vatican being a State is entitled to its own secret space. It conducts elections to Pope and various other temporal and clerical offices. It must have certain records which preserved safely and confidentially. As regards your second question, regarding the military, wikipedia has the following to say:-

"The Vatican City State has the distinction of having the smallest and oldest regular army in the world, the Swiss Guard. It was founded by Pope Julius II on January 22, 1506, and originally made up of Swiss mercenaries from the Swiss Confederation. They currently number a little over 100 men and are also the personal bodyguards of the Pope. Recruitment is restricted to Catholic male Swiss citizens.

The Palatine Guard and the Noble Guard were disbanded during the reign of Pope Paul VI in 1970.

The Corpo della Gendarmeria acts as the internal police force. Its full name is Corpo della Gendarmeria dello Stato della Città del Vaticano although it is sometimes still referred to as Vigilanza, which is a shortening of an earlier name.

The Vatican has no navy and no air force. External defense is handled by the surrounding state of Italy."

The Vatican likely posesses innumerable artifacts and historic documents in their archives. If all were revealed, it would turn everything that is 'accepted' history on it's head.

Vatican City is a landlocked sovereign city-state whose territory consists of a walled enclave within the city of Rome. It is the smallest independent nation in the world and is classified as a 'microstate'.

The Pope is head of state and head of government of Vatican City. His official title with regard to Vatican City is Sovereign of the State of the Vatican City.

Well, supposedly, many centuries ago the Vatican removed one of the Gospels (as in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John). This "fifth Gospel" was supposedly not factually supported by the Vatican (or it didn't fit in with their preachings), and removed from the Bible. However, this could just be a rumor, and it's very possible that this isn't true.

But if it is, maybe that's what's in the archives.

Or, if you watch South Park, the Vatican's charter is lost down there.

My husband did wide reasearch on what delivered about the writings of the bible, and the inspiration of the Christian ideals. And what he got here upon is rather on the fringe of what become written above. in spite of the undeniable fact that, contained in the retelling, it turned right into a verbal change between a lengthy useless pope and a scribe, the position he stated, "This Jesus fable, has served us nicely". I honestly have examine and also said a historic software about the useless Sea Scrolls, and the concern be counted, got here upon contained in the early 40's i think. They were newspapers of the time even as Jesus become nonetheless alive. It become recorded that Jewish scribes wrote those topics, modern in earthen jars the position some were already disintegrating. It referred to in some, that Jesus' brother Peter, went on to evangelise the religion of Jewish faith, yet with the words of his brother to pick the love of each person. Jesus it really is asserted, did not die on the go, and that he married Mary Magdelin, and they'd 3 little ones.] He become sure by way of his Jewish faith to adhere to custom and in consumer-friendly words stay with Mary for a particular time each three hundred and sixty 5 days. in the previous and after that, he might want to be loose to evangelise because the rabbi he become continuously. He also traveled to different international places to benefit of their religions and knowledgeable himself added. The transcrips of the useless Sea Scrolls were placed contained in the bowells of the Vatican, after many were translated. If all of what the Vatican holds were revealed, and the contents of the papers were released to the international, there might want to be no Christian and Jewish and Catholic religions at present. and on account that those are enormous money making businesses, they are going to proceed to be secret for thus long as achieveable, so as that there'll be no ailment between the worlds' human beings. For it truly is the terror of repercussion that keeps the thousands in examine. it really is a lawless society, if the reality were to be made commonplace.
