psp movie converters like PQ psp movie creator or psp video 9 are two great programs to transfer movie files to your psp..I use the PQ software, it is totally idiot proof and has lots of options to increase or decrease file sizes and quality, but it costs about 30 or 40 dollars to register for the software...but I have to tell you, it's well worth every penny. you can just put a dvd in your dvd rom drive, open the software, select copy, and it rips the movie, converts the file and gets it ready to transfer it to your psp... hope you take a chance on it, you won't be sorry

Well, if it is a movie that you own (have the CD) then you probably won't get it on your PSP, first you have to put it on your computer. Which would also mean it can't have a copyright liscense, which 99.5% of all DVDs have, (this means it's illegal to copy to your computer...)
But...if for some reason you get it on your computer then you should be able to plug your PSP and drage the DVD file from your computer to the PSP.

If none of this works...I'm not surprised, you'll have to buy the PSP Movie.
