Check to see if he left mouse doody. Those little bastards always do. Right along the edges of walls, against the backs of cabinets, etc. It'll look like tiny little black dots. Nasty. And stuff steel wool into crevices; usually behind stoves and under radiators.

when mice have babies they usually finds a nice cozy warm spot to do it so chances are it wasnt having babies. it may have gotten injured somewhere in the house by something or another animal if you have a cat or dog, and it may just be looking for somewhere high off the ground to find saftey, just find a small box and putt it in the box and then out in the garden, so it atleast has a chace to escape the house and live or find somewhere to die, hope this helped = )

I would check under the burners and under the stove top and oven and drawer underneath if you have one- and look for nests and mouse poop!! Yuck- and check in drawers you don't use often- there might be a nest there- and set traps= they usually have friends and family- also - if you have a pilot light- the fumes might have gotten to it- D

glad your husband got it. i had this problem last year and they about drove me nuts. one of the mice, i called him vinny, used to sit on my microwave and eat raw garlic while i fixed my coffee, he finally died the same way your little pal did. but i had put down poison. this little booger must have gotten into something or else he would have ran when he saw you. lol unless he's related to my vinny. you have one of the best and funniest questions on here. thanks i needed the break from stupid questions. you're great! and texxan too darn funny cause that what my hubby said about me, that my pancakes is what killed vinny.

It was probably poisoned......Rodent baits make them bleed to death..Just get of it and clean that area good..

And no you didn't have to poison it.....they can travel around different areas....someone else may have poisoned it..
I get about one or two of those calls every year around now.....

It's a mouse...so just remember that. I need to ask what you mean by "wasn't", did you do something to it? If you did what is done is done. Not saying it was right or wrong, it's done. Get over it and move on.
