I did not have toys--I had a small chainsaw when I was 5 and I had a ride em toy when I was 6. I did envy my sisters for having Barbies and all the clothes my mother would make for those Barbies.

My Strombecker 1/32 scale Monza slot car set. Best and most fun toy I ever played with as a kid (over 40 years ago).

I used to put Oil of Wintergreen on the car's tires to soften them up for better traction. Whenever I smell Oil of Wintergreen now it reminds me of one of the best Christmas' I had as a child.

When I was tiny, through about 7, I had 2 favorite animals. I had a stuffed Monkey, that I still have to this day, and the top Favorite, was a stuffed racoon, that I carried about the house, whereever have you, holding it by the tail. My grandmother must have sewn that tail on soooo many times. I will not comment on what happened to it.....*cough* grrrrr *cough* ANyway....

I liked to play with my erector set or blocks or best was when my dad would find a toaster or blender or something else and let me use his tools to take the item apart. I would do that for hours and I still do it to this day and I am old and used up.
