Is it wrong to download music if its all radio hits?

Ok,, I understand why its wrong to download music that you didnt buy. But what about downloading radio hits? Those songs are already free to the public via radio. Whats wrong with downloading it to hear it more?

Excellent question, I don't see why downloading songs you can hear on the radio is any different than recording them off the radio except I guess maybe the quality is better.

I never download radio hits.. It's not original or interesting. I better go for a forbidden fruit in the garden of music. And I do not think it is wrong anyway. All those musicians have already lots lots and lots of money and I do not hurt them if I steal one of their songs..or albums... However it is sometimes very pleasant to hold a new CD in my arms, right from the store.

its not wrong at all, they robbed us for decades with over-priced cd's (a cd costs pennies to make they sold for 18.00 bucks!) I used to work at a music store and it went bankrupt, but even when I worked there I downloaded music or copied it, never bought their over priced stuff. That industry has died but others have replaced it, such as portable mp3 player makers, cd-r players, etc.. file sharing is like me lending my friend a tape to copy on a dual deck tape player, the dual decks were obviously for copying. only the music industry is pissed
