The best would be "If Tomorrow Comes". I actually watched the miniseries on tv about 20 years ago and loved it so much. The book's equally as good. The protagonist, Tracy Whitney played by Madolyn Smith-Osborne, is one of my all-time favorite characters, and Tom Berenger who played the other professional thief, was awesome.

Two that come to mind instantly are "Rage of Angels" and "Stranger in a Mirror." Both outstanding novels.
Sidney Sheldon is pronounced... just the way it looks like it is.
