The odds of belly dancers to be employed are 0.6, whereas the odds for older administrators to be employed are 0.2.

Calculate the odds ratio, showing your workings, and interpret the result.

Let say a chance of belly dancer being employed is 0.6 or 60% and older administrator 0.2 or 20%. Or out of 100 belly dancers applying for job 60 will be accepted while out of 100 older administrators 20 will be accepted. Therefore the chance for belly dancer to get a job is 3 times better than for older administrator. Or belly dancer have 3 times better chance to be employed than older administrator.
