a book... Alice in Wonderland. It had some awful pictures, I was so scared that I used to hide it in the closet. Unfortunately, my mom always found it and put it back on the shelf near my bed...

Ok this may sound weird but I had friends at my birthday party when I was 5 years old. They keep blasting off the balloons and make it explode so loud that I cried.

Until now I still stay away from balloons...oh ya, I fear of being alone in the dark too!! No...

My dad's footsteps... Every time I heard him come down the stairs, I used to run and hide underneath the table. I still hide when I hear him coming, but I hide behind a wall or in a dark corner instead.

LMAO---the toilet monster. you know, the one that growls every time you flush.

as a kid i would leave every light on along the pathway to the bathroom, and then i would get as far from the toilet as i possibly could, then flush and run like crazy to the safety of my bed.

my mom used to roll with laughter when i would do this. now even i laugh

witches.
When I was a very young child my mother (evil) told me that she wasn't my mom. but that she was a witch and she had taken away my mother. It scared me so. (I think she thought she was playing around, maybe she was on drugs) then later, the wizard of Oz gave me nightmares, the wicked witch of the west.
so, there you go.
and also snakes.
again, from my mother. she told me about snakes when I was little (I'm still deathly terrified of them) but this time she told me about them cause we lived in the country and she was trying to protect me.

Darkness, I was terrified of the dark. We lived in the woods and you would hear the animals and bugs all night and I would lay there and think about all the stuff in the darkness that could get me. It was scary!!!!
