It means thet you are doing something to your iPod it wasn't designed to do.

1 - Take songs and song data off your iPod and put it on another computer

2 - Changing the preprogrammed info inside your iPod like changing its font or making the thing say things other than iPod or Music on it's title screen such as your name, phone number or address.

If you do a search titled "Hack my iPod" you'll see exactly what I mean and you will find programs that will do these things for you.

Well, it probably means to really get into the software of the iPod and modify it or install other stuff. It could also mean to get the contents of the iPod, such as music and videos out of the iPod and onto a computer without using the iTunes software.

How to do it...
You just experiment around. You might need to know lots about computers though!
