I have heard storing cartons of cigs in the freezer will prolong their life. Is it true or a myth?

It does prolong the life of the tobacco, i know this because i store my pipe tobacco in the freezer but first you need to vacuum seal it with one of machines that suck all the air out and melts the ends shut, the reason for the vacuum is because for some reason it keeps it much fresher and for a much longer time as well.

Yes, or in the refrigerator.

If I put mine in the freezer, I wrap them in a plastic bag--I don't want them to taste like freezer frost.

No, it is not a myth. They stay fresh much longer.
