This was a very old custom. In the old days, my mother used to keep her hankerchief in her bra. And I have seen old people put a change purse or coin purse in her bras. But lately, old ladies hardly wear bras, anymore. They usually wear a camisole or slip. Even keeping things in her pockets seem passe. Most often than not, these ladies make use of their big purses or handbags.

Some women keep tissues in their bras, LOL. When I used to cut myself I kept the razorblades in those little pockets that the cookies go into so no one would find them.
A bra is not a very good place to keep things because it will create bulges, your breasts also sweat.

I have only ever put money in my bra and it's usually if I don't have pockets or their not deep enough. My friend I know puts lip gloss and maybe once a condom. She's weird though

both see we stick money and specil items in our bras so none can take them because if thier in our pockets we can get pick pocketed but if its in our bras someone that wanted stuff would have to reach down our shirts whitch would be a big no no.

No; we keep our breasts in a bra, and items in a purse. We also keep the stuff in our purse that our boyfriend/husband asks us to keep because he doesn't have room in his pockets and then he makes fun of us because we have a heavy purse - at which point we tell him to go to hell.

I keep my dirty pillows in my bra and when I wear one I am well aware that:

It could be like a shield, to keep something valueable close to their heart..... What decent person is going to stick their hand down a womans bra unless they are intimately acquainted?

haha i no i do.
its a great place to keep ur cash, or notes, or even drugs if that's what ur into. ha ha a great place to keep things that u don't want other ppl to see cuz what are they gunna do be like i saw that note give it to of course imma put it in my bra then u cant see it. ha ha n i no no ones gunna go after it.... well actually that's a lie to everyone got used to it now no one cares guys and girls are willing to go down shirts after notes n such =P lol <3

When I go to the club, it is really annoying to carry a purse. I usually stash my ID, my cash and my bank card in there. Odds are good that it won't get stolen. I also use my boots sometimes.
