sehwag sehwag sehwag.he is main responsible for this defeat.as a opener he should built a good paltform for the batsmen at middle nd lower order.if he does not play well it will have a lot of impact on other batsmen.ther will be lot of pressure on them.dravid is not an effective captain.he should take his own nd bold decisions.another man who is very much responsible for defeat is greg chappell.for india again winning matches first step they have to take is to take out greg as a coach and make sourav as captain.we also have many good cricketers who are eligible as coaches like kapildev e.t.c.pathan would have been far better than sehwag if he is there in team.even though he is not bowling now a days that effective he has good eligibility to bat.

Dravid,Sehwag, sachin,Batsmen, because they never realised their responsibility. They took the game casually as they were sure of their selection in the team.
Moreover our selectors had been doing the things that such and such had performed very well 3-4-5-6-7 years ago it does not matter today the player is serious about the game.this has also contributed.

I think it's mostly the failure of our batsmen since many of them failed to bat quite correctly.Bowlers had done nice job since they are able to restrict the south african batsmen to score runs. The captain also had responsbility of India's lost in R.S.A.coach had done his duty.India's fielding is also not quite good, they allowed the south african batsmen to score runs.these may be the reasons for India's defeat against R.S.A.

Mainly the batsmen, but India's fielding was horrible to say the least.

group Composition may well be a area yet India lacked especially because of the fact of loss of application...India have been fiddling with basically 4 substantial batsmen yet those 4 can demolish any group and any bowling attack...So i think of loss of application became the main clarification for India dropping to South Africa

The batsmen. mainly DRAVID AND SEHWAG.
Ganguly played well. As a bowler VRV played badly.
The openers must always be GANGULY AND KARTHIK.
And dont blame the coach. It was not because of him. I belive Kumblay and Sreesant were the best bowlers.

mainly batsmen because of their poor batiing especially viru and jaffer who failed to give a good start to india so,the openers are mainly responsible for the loss.Though zaheer fought well the others did not support him.Even asad rauf the umpire is also responsible for the loss as he did not give kallis out when he was on 0.

Zaheer & Srresanth bowled superbly throughout the series. Ganguly batted extremely well, Specially first & third test. He also the highest scorer for India. Except this 3, everybody were responsible for this debacle.
