I recieved Wintersmith by Terry Pratchet for xmas, do i need to read the rest of the discworld series first?

No, but it might help understand the leading chracter if you read 'A Fistful of Sky', first

Hi, this is the 3rd in a mini-series within the Discworld series and is preceded by The Wee Free Men and A Hatful of Sky; they are great funny stories and you would probably benefit from reading the first two before this one. I am waiting for it to turn up in my library, much though I would like to buy it my bookshelves are already groaning

No, but Id suggest reading Wee Free Men And Hatful of Sky as well as theyre all about the same central charachter Tiffany Aching n her adventures with the Nac McFeegles.

you only need read the wee free men and a hatfull of sky, as this is the third in the tiffany aching series. you dont NEED to read his other books, but they are a great read hehe
