I kind of forgot it... can anyone briefly tell me the storyline?

What is the lesson taught?

It's not a myth, the original movie was loosely based off of Al Capone, who's nickname was Scarface. And the newer movie was loosely based off of the original movie, which was loosely based off of Al Capone.

EDIT: and the Lesson, is that you will go straight to the top, but when you become too greedy and become a Chazzer, a pig that don't fly straight. Then your empire will crumble under your feet.

The story is of a Cuban criminal sent to Miami during the time when USA was trying to show they cared about the suppressed. Castro empty the jails and sent the worst that |Cuba had to offer.
Scareface came over and made a "new" life in America.

Unless of course you are talking abouty Alphonse Capone...the original Scareface.

There is no legend of scarface. Scarface was the nickname of the depression-era criminal named Al Capone. He lived in Chicago, ran illegal alcohol for a living, killed people, and died in prison, having been sent there for tax evasion.
