He was on the Colbert report a few weeks ago and so I took a look at his book in the bookstore. My interest is in the Mayan-Aztec aspect. It seemed like it was yet another book about hanging out with natives and doing drugs with them, which isn't interesting to me. If the experiences can't be replicated without the drugs (which aren't available in the US), then why bother reading/writing about it?
