Or jumped in a puddle? Or picked a flower just to smell it? What little things do you like to do that make you smile? Stuff that nobody really pays attention to in life. I'm curious to see what people do when they're feeling down. Or things you do when you're happy, just to be happier. Does anybody like to just sit back and enjoy life for a few minutes out of your hectic schedules? Or does America not believe in that anymore....

Picked a rose yesterday it is on my desk here in my room, viewed the stars this evening and noticed the ring around the moon...recalled that the ring usually means rain. Saw a friend today I haven't seen in awhile. Started to write a stroy. Remembered the yellow crocuses that came up through the snow and the way the snow sparkled. Played some music...watched a bird outside my window...I jumped in a puddle a few days ago while walking my dog. I hope to finish a book tonight.

I hope you can too...and I think some of America has forgotten but there are enough of us who haven't.

I shovel horse manure for fun, so maybe I'm kind of a weirdo. But then, that's part of horse keeping. I also do waste patrol for other species I have living in the immediate area.
I can get pretty silly in the barn, sing and stuff and the animals don't mind. When I was young and foolish, I used to take the train to NYC and go barefoot and smile at people and say "hi". It was funny! I used to like pustefix brand bubbles and drive slowly to make clouds of bubbles down the road, in town or near the toll booths. I do not do hectic anymore. I opted for quality of life. If you have to race from one thing to the next, can you enjoy anything at all?
I am ultra-American, too.

I don't chew gum but about once a year but I'll usually try it to see if I still can blow a bubble.
I pay attention to life but not people.

That's a really great question. I like to just sit down and think sometimes. I turn off the computer, the stereo, the TV--and just lay on my bed and stare at the ceiling. I just think...it's a big de-stresser!
