Can you hire a car and still find beautiful beaches where you're on your own?

try Portland parish in Jamaica for some of the best spots
If you're adventurous and relatively careful, you can absolutely find beautiful beaches on your own! Just stick to the road that runs along the coast. It'll take more time, but what a view!
and often times hotels in the area will have, or offer passes to, small private beaches with few people.

Absolutely!!! In the Bahamas if you go to Eleuthera, or Cat Island, or Abaco there are plenty of deserted beaches. You do need a car. We've rented twice on Eleuthera, and have found any number of beaches wehre we were the only ones there. That, of course, gave us the freedom to be nude on the beach and in the water as we wanted!

Don't be silly. The last thing you wanna do is rent a car in a country you dont know to find someplace deserted. Meet some friends first and keep in touch with them, so they can take you to a good beach on your next visit.

Not really, in Jamaica only the locals can show you where to find these so call private beaches.

Sure, but your going to have to have a big heart,and and, open mind, for anything is possible,and of course a good guide,to that spot of jamaica that is yet to be develope,on the coast.

In Jamaica I have found several, and like most, introduced to these by "safe" friends. If I posted here, they would not be so any more. Seek and yee shall find!
