Because many people believe that life begins at conception & consequently abortion is murder.

It's just a way for men to control reproduction.

I'm for abortion, not because I hate babies or whatever "pro-lifers" want to say about me or my values; because I don't think the government can tell me what I can do with my body. The government doesn't go through the pain of child birth for me, nor does the government pay for my child's well being.

Therefore, it should be my decision.

And no, I've never had an abortion, and I never will.

You seem to be under the assumption that there are people that actually hear the word abortion and say woo hoo. I do not know a single person who is for abortion. What they want is the protection by law to have a medical procedure. The moral and religious ramifications is between a patient, her doctor and God.

If you allow anyone to decide the value of life at any point in the process of life it is then only a question of opinion who and when you or anyone is no longer of value.

When you deny any of the God given rights this country is founded on then all rights are in danger. The great strength of this country is that we hold and believe that all rights are above the any government or person. When people support abortion, they are bringing the question of the value of life under the decision of people or governments and denying that life is a God given right. If you are able to deny the God given right to life what chance does the right of freedom have. All rights then just become a question of who holds the power.

If they're men, they hate women and are frightened buy women's sexuality.

If they're women, they hate and are frightened by their own sexuality.

I have been battling anti-abortion forces for years, and have had many a long argument with them. If you keep the argument going long enough the anti abort person will always say (guranteed) " If a woman wants a choice, she should choose to keep her legs closed." Bingo! There it is. It has nothing to do with imaginary babies.

No one with a great sex life opposes abortion.
