They stumbled into the playoffs against another stumbling team. Neither of these teams looked to go far into the playoffs. They both tried pretty hard to lose the game. The Cowboys lost on the poor play by Romo, but he had a lot of help losing this one. Look for Seattle to "succeed" at losing their next game as it will not be at home. The Cowboys have some good players like Carpenter, Ware, Williams on defense. They probably need a lot of help on offense including QB and running back as well as O-Line. Coach Parcells should walk away at this point and let the team bring in a younger man with more energy to whip this bunch into shape. The game they played in Dallas against the Eagles late in the year made it painfully clear to Dallas fans this team was done. Seattle survived last night in a game of bad teams waiting to be eliminated from the playoffs. I'm not sure what Seattle fans should wish for, a trip to Chicago or New Orleans. They probably have a better chance at Chicago with Rex potentially playing like Romo did last night in the clutch. The Eagles should win today which would give the Seahawks a better chance to advance IMHO, but not a great chance.

The last play for Dallas was just a bad play. But, the blame is all Parcels. The game was lost earlier when he challenged the fumble into the endzone and Seattle's recovering it for a TD. The call was reversed and the Hawks got 2 points from the safety and received the ball from the kick off which put them on the 50 yard line. A couple plays later the Hawks score the go ahead touchdown! Those 2 points from the safety hurt...lol. The Tuna had the chance to allowe Seattle to tie and put the ball in the hands of the offense, but choose to challenge and put the game in the hands of their pathetic defense. The game was lost way before Romo's muffed snap.

Yeah, that's true that you shouldn't attempt a FG on 4th down on the last play, but you have to take into account that it wasn't the last play of the game. Seattle would have gotten the ball back with over a minute left, and would have only needed a FG to win. Also, you shouldn't screw up a FG that's as close as an extra point if you play in the NFL. Period. And T.O. should never play in the NFL again after dropping all those passes. And regardless of the botched FG, the Cowboys should never have been in that situation because they should have played better football all year long. And Parcells should probably be fired for that. Amen.

For all the crap that Cowboys fans talked all year (especially about my team the Giants), they're getting what was coming to them.

Why in the world Parcells had Romo hold the ball is beyond me, but if it would've worked he would've been a hero. Now he's just a complete idiot. Poor guy. I almost feel bad for him.

But seeing them lose made me so happy yesterday :-D YAY!

Not gloating folks. Eagles fan here who has witnessed some poor play calling by the Cowboys over the years.

Can you remember Barry Switzer having Emmitt Smith go up the middle on consecutive downs at The Vet?

DISCLAIMER: The Eagles aren't immune to the same affliction.

Cowboys are not all they are put up to be. But Romo is going to be good in the near future.

Messed up on the snap! They are overrated and this may be Parcell's last season in the NFL! Who knows? But this is not the best way to go out however! Ha Ha! Cowboys stink!

This is why you never, ever, ever attempt a game-winning FG at the end of a game on 4th down.

You do it on 2nd or 3rd down -- because then if something goes wrong with the snap or the hold, you can just fall on the ball.

Then you get another chance to line up a FG attempt.

I can't believe that the Cowboy's messed up on the snap? And then they didn't even make the touchdown. WOW!
