I am assuming that it would have to be a Canadian city because Canada is a more secular country that the U.S. Among Canadian cities the least religious is probably Vancouver, since according to Statistics Canada (link below) the Province of British Columbia is the least religious by a decent margin.

Vancouver is a good choice for the most secular Canadian city, and as for the most secular in the United States - I would have to venture a guess at either Las Vegas or San Francisco

Judging from recent news on the United States side it is a tie between San Fransisco, and Boston...Canada for the same. Reason: Recognition of Same sex marriages
