I m a science student!!!!!
My mothers wants to make me a docotor But i want to b a fashion designer......Now what should I do?????

It really depends on what you want. There are alot of options here
1) Become a doctor
Pros: Make lots of money (money is not the key to happiness)
Cons: Training for your degree takes lots of time, the cost, the 8 years of indpendent study (you work under a doctor), the malpractice insurance (It's insurance for when you screw up and they save you from being sue to bankruptcy, It's a smart idea.)
2) Become a Fashion designer
Pros: Live your dream, have fun doing it, Enjoy your work
Cons: Not a lot of money, Might be hard to get into a big fashion company
3) Get a Degree in Fashion and Minor in Medical
This way if you flop being a Fashion Designer you still have a Medical background and with medical your guaranteed a job and can to designing on the side to work you way back up.

I'd be a well-dressed doctor! I'm serious, it's a fantastic way of life that will grow you up into a beautiful person but the stress is a challenge and if you get energy from your pleasure in clothes it will help you. I once met an emergency doctor who had tremendous energy and composure. Everyone said she looked like she'd stepped naturally out of a page of Vogue whatever the time or place. She had a wonderful effect on people. I've met a few women doctors like that. If you don't want to stay a doctor you can walk into fashion designing with huge confidence later on. I hear confidence is a big plus in fashion but it's good if you understand and have sympathy with women's lives.

Follow ur heart, do what u want to do. Not what other ppl want u to do. Ur mother isn't the person living ur life. U r. Will u be happier as a doctor or as a fashion designer?

Go with what you want to do. Fashion Designers are really cool, you could be the next big thing. I will buy you stuff. You mom really control you future.

it depends...are you expirenced in sewing and drawing fashion sketches??? and are determined and passionate about fashion design? if you are all of the above. go for it, it's something you REALLY want, they're you're parents they should be supportive and understanding about the way you feel...

fashion designers almost never get real, good paying jobs... if you go through and graduate from med school, youll definately have a job waiting! personally if i had the opertunity, id go with med school

you should do what you want to do b/c you will regret it if you don't medical school is competitive and expensive if you don't want to do it why bother?
