Buy 37 roses (or some other flower) and hand them out to complete strangers. Or...
...you could count your gray hairs and a do shot of tequilla for every one you find.
...at the exact time of day that you were born you could run up and down the block 37 times yelling, "It's a boy!"
...hold a 'memorial service birthday' party. Invite everyone to come and remember you. Have one of your more creative and funny friends write a humourous tribute to your memory. All the while, you'll have to be lying there quietly, arms crossed over your chest with a straight face on :) Play funny music throughout the service too.

For many yrs I enjoy this day with my family. Have either your mother, or wife, prepare you your favorite meal. My mother has been doing this ever since we were small children. The oldest of us is now 60 (61 on Jan 20th). My married sisters have their dinner prepared by their husbands.
When I was 50 I was given a surprise b/d party by co-workers & a dj was there & I was on the radio! (The dj just happened to be there).

It's a bit late now only one day to go but do something you've always wanted to do, go windsurfing, ride a horse, anything you've always wanted to try but never got round to. Enjoy life while you're young.
