it seemed to me like it was .hack series, but it wasnt /sign, and i havent seen twilight yet, but i saw pictures and it doesnt seem to be it either, it was a anime bout a game world though and i know 2 of the characters , one had a helmet that looked like a turnip and he wore goggles and he had a girl that followed him that looked like a cat, they were not the main characters though, i saw this a few weeks ago on adult swim and i want to know what cartoon this was, but im positive its not .hack/sign, any ideas what it is?

omg, digimon and .hack are nothing alike, the only person that gave a good answer was the person that said .hack/roots, and the girl that suggested i got to cartoon network

There are two other .hack series: .hack//Legend of the Twilight And .hack//Roots.
The .hack currently airing on Cartoon Network is Roots, although I couldn't say it its the show you're describing or not.
