A great team is always a combination of skill and luck. Was it lucky that Seattle stuffed them on 3rd down? Was it lucky they stopped Romo after he muffed the snap? Remember, Tony did not have to make it into the endzone, he only needed to break the 1 yard line for a first down. So, it was a combination of luck, the muffed snap, and skill, stopping the plays.

But to answer your question, Seattle is a far superior team when they are healthy. They have been UNLUCKY all year with injuries. Their entire secondary was injured for this game. Hell, they had a player, Hunter, who had not played in over a year! But, any team who thinks they can go to the bowl on sheer talent, will be disappointed because the team with talent and lady luck will win every time. Look at the Superbowl last year and all the questionable calls going the way of the Steelers. Talent and luck for the win.

Well, call it luck or whatever, but the Seahawks have been plagued with injuries all season. In spite of the hardships, they where able to make the playoffs and beat the Cowboys. If the Cowboys truly are the winners here, then they should have not allowed the seahawks to be as close as they where in the game. They should have not gotten a safety when they where backed up on their own 2 yard line. All teams have occasional luck come their way. But If you say the Cowboys should have won then the score should have been more like 44 - 20 or something like that. Good teams don't allow others to hang around that long. You can blame Romo all you want! there is plenty of blame to go around!

The Seahawks are a good team but they did not beat the cowboys, the cowboys beat themselves. Too many plays given by the cowboys defense and stupid penalties not to take anything away from the Seahawks. You have to remember both Hasselback and Alexander were injured during the season as well as some players from the O line so the Seahawks are finally clicking as a team again and everyone is playing well.

Really really Lucky to win this game...the two key plays was the obvious butterfingers mishap by Romo and the Glenn fumble that resulted in a saftey. These two plays will haunt the minds of every Cowboy player for the entire offseason.

Well, they were just good enough to squeeze past a sort of tough Cowboys team. They aren't superior or lucky. Either way it goes, they'll lose the next round.

I think the right answer is both. If you look at the numbers the Hawks moved the ball up and down the field until they got inside the Dallas 40. They just couldn't move it in deep. And how bout that Romo.

The only super team right now is the Patriots. Some are an the verge but can't get past the final hurdle.

Just lucky to play against a team that have choke in their last 5 games... Romo drop ball will be seen as stupid as Buckner error... Thank God it wasn't a the SB.... otherwise he would have a new winner for stupidity....

I was born and raised in Seattle and am a 'Hawks fan, but they were lucky to make the playoffs and lucky to win that game. Both teams were lame, but someone had to win!

As my Dad used to say, "Even a blind pig finds an acorn once in awhile".

Definitely NOT a superior team, but I wouldn't say they got lucky either... more like dallas was unlucky.
