He's hiding and I don'thave anything long enough to get him to grab on it and pull him out. And I can't pick up the sofa...He's not a hermit crab, he's a crab from the Chinese market and he's beg, Alaskan king crab I think which was suppossed to be part of the dinner last year...

Make up a big batch of clarified butter and put it in a bowl near the couch.
With any luck at all he'll come running.
Call me when he does. I get first dibs on his left front claw.

Hmmm, try to bait him out with something he likes....if not put a tub of water close to the couch and hopfully when he gets in need of it he will climb on in thats when you've got him. Other than that a pot of boiling water and some lemon butter would be great. ;)

grab a crab trap from a fishermans market...
or grab some ovin mits and wrap towels around ur hands too and have a boiling pot ready
other then that grab a shovel and have sum fun catapult style

Is it dead? If it's dead, then you can't do much about it. You'll have to move the sofa somehow in order to get to it. If it's alive, try baiting it with a towel or something.
