Mirrors have a very low accuracy level...I look in the mirror, and I just know that fat old lady isn't really me.

My scale is inaccurate also.

Mirrors give you a false image of yourself, because left and right are reversed. Say you look in the mirror and part your hair from right to left. You think that looks OK, but that is not how people will see you. When they look at you, what they see is your hair parted on the left and flowing over toward the right. So a mirror is completely backwards. It would be better to install a video camera and monitor on your bathroom wall, so when you comb your hair or put on makeup, you will see yourself as others will see you.

depends what you mean by 'accurate'. The answer is both 100% and not at all. The mirror might return all the light, but that light could be distorted to a human viewer, thus being 'inaccurate'.

Maybe try and define your question a bit better.

It would be infinity percent efficient if it were perfectly flat and perfectly opaque (light doen't pass through) but since we are talking about percentage then it can never be 100% as there is always some microscopic imperfection. (some light passes through it or is lost as it gets absorbed by the mirror)
