I'm just curious. The commercials for e-harmony seem too good to be true. Also, from watching the "judge" shows, it seems that most on-line connections end up in court eventually.

I haven't personally but know of a friend of a friend who met his wife via eHarmony. A close friend of mine met her husband on yahoo personals. I think as a single person, you want to maximize your chances and try everything...have fun exploring, and you will be surprise how fun and frustrating online dating can be. I did it a few years ago and dated guys with interests and from cultures that were different from mine and helped me refined the qualities I like in that special someone. My search continues...but I'm glad I tried online dating. Now I can actually talk about it based on personal experiences, rather than merely saying "I heard..." :)

e harmony is supposed be be pretty good cause of the personality tests used are great tools

it is possible to meet a mate for life but not sure what the odds of that are and the rest of the population who meet offline are just as likely to end up in divorce court as those who met online

If you believe in reincarnation...

Through Yahoo-Messenger, being in a chat room I met someone with whom I immediately felt an extremely strong feeling of familiarity, warmness and love. I just know we had known each other before, and he feels just the same, even though we live on the opposite sides of the planet and have never visited each others' countries...

What ever is your method of meeting other people, other souls, you will still meet those whom you were supposed to meet, most likely whom you have known before (previous lives)

Everything is VERY much linked to everything else, so it might require books to explain something clearly...

I met mine on myspace. Funny thing was that neither of us were looking to hook up. I was just there to complain about the wife I left 2 months before that, and she just happened to be in the same chat room and chose to listen to me. We chatted for a few weeks, and the rest is history.

I tried the online dating services, but none ever worked for me.

Honestly it works for some people, and others not so much. The net did work for my mum and step father, married 4 years as of next week!! :)
I rather wait for the one who is for me instead of hitting up the internet. Eh, guess I got a heart of stone when it comes to the net since it's never worked out for me.

yes--it happens--but you must be very carefull that you don;t get tricked into being used by some --yes --there are a few that will use you just for what ever they can get from you.---my wife is from baybay,leyte-philippines--we;ve been married for almost 13 years--praying it;s forever---my thinking---philippine women are the most thoughtful----careing---respectful--and beautiful women in the world------warning-----don;t ever let her become americanized --when this happens--you lose her.

i think in love. i don't believe of there's a "ideal human being" for me. there's no ideal experience. Soul associates are not actual. by no ability were in love, with somewhat of success will sometime. all of us merits to be in love.
