I'm not judging you I'm encouraging you. Good job. If you are concerned about getting pregnant why are you having unprotected sex in the first place?

Yes, you can still get pregnant if you bleed during ovulation.

I'm not judging you...but if you don't want to get pregnant, it would be wise of you to find a form of birth control to use.

If finances are an issue, check with your local health department to see if they have a birth control program. Many offer free condoms or the pill at a greatly reduced price. If ease is the concern, try the Nuvo ring or the depo shot.

If those are not options, you can look into natural family planning. I'm leaving a link to one method below.

go to a clinic for a check up soon and make sure you take a pregnancy test there. If you aren't pregnant the doctor visit will still be good for you to know how healthy you are with a pap smear. If you don't have insurance or don't want your parents to know I would suggest a county clinic or a free-clinic. Be smart and don't end up with a baby at this time though. If you aren't pregnant then do your best to finish all the schooling you can get. It is a tough world and kids aren't cheap. Do yourself a favor and wait until you are financially stable.

hi me again. lol. i still say its too early for u to be pregnant. ure gonna have to do the math since i dont know ur cycle. u count 14 days b4 ur next period. that is the day u would ovulate. which i believe u still have 3 weeks til ur period. if u r so worried y dont u go to a neighborhood clinic? its free and they can check u, to c if ure pregnant or if something else is wrong.

as for everyone else on here....they r just putting their 2 cents in when all they needed to do was answer ur question. but this is something u gotta expect when coming to strangers. thats y u should ask someone u trust...like a family member or dr.

hope u figure everything out.

Why don't you take some control over your life and go to a clinic, get pregnancy & stds tests.
If you're not pregnant, take birth control. Don't have a baby because you don't feel strong enough to say no or to take care of yourself.

I have gotten judgemental about young women having unprotected sex, because I was once, too, and the decisions that you make or don't make, will effect the rest of your life.

Take care of yourself! Don't ruin your future.

Take a pregnancy test asap.
Ovulation bleeding is different from menstrual flow. The color of ovulation bleeding varies from pink to red, is light and for 1 or 2 days duration. If bleeding occurs at 2 weeks interval then it is due to lack of ovulation and can be due to irritation to cervix or polyps in cervix or uterus. A clinical examination with an ultrasound image of pelvic organs can confirm the cause of ovulation bleeding.

The exact cause of bleeding during ovulation is not clear and could be due to emerging follicles. Hormones prompt ovaries to produce around 20 follicles that contain an immature egg, and out of this only one follicle matures. It is during this process of maturing and bursting out from the follicle that pain or bleeding occurs. Few women are discomfited by bleeding, as it is a signal of ovulation, or they bleed slightly in middle of their cycle. Severe or long-lasting bleeding during ovulation is sometimes symptomatic of certain gynecological conditions, including endometriosis. It is prudent to consult a doctor because if left untreated can affect health. Also if bleeding is heavy during ovulation or lasts longer than 3 days then take medical advice.

Women with regular menstrual bleeding can differentiate between ovulation bleeding and the menstrual period. If periods are irregular, or it is uterine bleeding, then she is not ovulating regularly. A physical examination of the uterus helps detect causes of abnormal bleeding. An ultrasound examination or a diagnostic hysteroscopy helps detect sub-mucous fibroids, polyps and other problems. During a diagnostic hysteroscopy, it is possible to remove polyps for examination and take a sample of the uterus lining.

you can get pregnant any time, you are ignorant for having unprotected sex unless you want a baby and bleeding could be from rough sex or anything, if it keeps up and isnt at the right time, then go to a doctor.

You need a pregnancy test. It is very possible you are having break through bleeding. Since this has not happened to you before, it needs to be checked out. I urge you to get educated and get some protection. Judge yourself and make some adult decisions.

I think it is possible to get pregnant even at the start of one's period because sometimes the body releases two eggs but at slightly different times. So I think the second egg could get fertilized!
