I think the new rappers messed up hip hop because all they rap about is cars money etc. and some of them actually rent the stuff on their videos. I think 2pac was one of the best because he rapped about 'real' things in life.

i dont think a top 10 hip hop list is even possible without Beyonce sumwhere in it...T.I. "What you know" was my fav 4 da year...rihanna, neyo, and chris brown were good this yr too
