Every month, hormones from your pituitary gland stimulate your ovaries to release an egg, or ovulate. This often happens around day 14 of the menstrual cycle, although the exact timing may vary among women or even from month to month.

Once the egg is released, it travels to the fallopian tube. If you want to conceive, now's the time. The egg has about 24 hours to unite with a sperm. Since sperm cells can survive in your reproductive tract for two to three days, it's best to have regular sex during the days leading up to ovulation.

Learning how ovulation works is one thing. Determining when it's actually happening is something else. For many women, it's like hitting a moving target.Use your day planner or another simple calendar to mark the day your period begins..Also track the number of days each period lasts..

If you're having a normal pregnancy, sex is considered safe during all stages of the pregnancy. A normal pregnancy is one that's considered low-risk for complications such as miscarriage or pre-term labor.

There is no harm in sex during pregnancy and periods but you have to be careful.
For pregnancy: you have to be cautious about the baby and so select some special pose which she suggests.

For Periods: You must be aware of the facts that during period it bleeds and with a bad smell, your sex organs will be in mess with blood and most importantly if your partner agrees, because some girls have unusual pain during periods and they may not like sex at that time.

Don't have sex during her periods because you can get diseases that way. Don't have sex from the first month to the third month of pregnancy. The baby is at it's most vulnerable stage during the first three months of life.

After your periods get started you are eligible to become pregnant. And you can of course have sex during pregnancy and periods. During pregnancy try to avoid sex after 7th month. But before also if you can avoid the missionary position it is better. Periods is the safest time to have sex since the chance of pregnancy is only 1%. Please note that I am not a doctor to advice on this but I am giving you the tips from my experience. Please advice a Gynaecologist before you take a decision on this.

A girl can become pregnant as soon as she begins to ovulate. You can have sex during the girls menstruation its just how comfortable the both of you are during such a time. If you talk to doctors you will find out that sexual intercourse during the late stage of pregnancy actually helps induce labor. The bottom line is again just how comfortable you guys are doing those situations.

Depends on your body and what the doctor tells you. If you have any issues with your pregnancy your doc may recomend that you not even try. I had sex from the min the baby was concieved until the day before I went into labor but I also had no issues and had a normal pregnancy.

Yes you can have sex during periods and during pregnancy and usually as long as it is comfortable! The last month, or once a baby drops, a pregnant woman probably would not have much desire for intercourse!

Becoming pregnant can be difficult for a great deal of women. With the help of the many tools available to you, you can remedy these difficulties and be on your way to a successful pregnancy.

Why It's Important to Track Your Ovulation
Ovulation and pregnancy go hand in hand. Implantation during ovulation leads to a pregnancy. Becoming aware of your fertility cycle is the first step to pregnancy. Every woman's fertility cycle is unique, and therefore fertility awareness begins with monitoring your menstrual cycle and being attentive to ovulation symptoms.

The best time to conceive is during ovulation or the 1-2 days prior to it. The newly released egg is fertile for 12-24 hours, and therefore it is essential that you get into the routine of knowing your cycle intimately. The window of opportunity is small so inform yourself on some of the methods of ovulation prediction.

Symptoms of Ovulation
Look to your body for some natural signs of ovulation. These include changes in cervical mucus and ovulation pains.

Cervical Mucus
You will experience changes in the frequency and consistency of your cervical mucus throughout your menstrual cycle. The cervical mucus serves to help provide sperm with a better environment to move through. Therefore, the most advantageous consistency for a sperm to move through is a slippery texture-something like raw egg white. This texture should be noticed at the time of ovulation.

Ovulation Pains
Ovulation signs include pains, or Mittelschmerz, which occur before, during or after the ovulation period in your menstrual cycle. The pain is centered around your lower right abdomen, and may last anywhere from a few hours to days. Although these can alert you to the occurrence of ovulation, you should not rely primarily on these pains to help you conceive. Ovulation pains can be used as a secondary fertility sign - that is, taken with the many other symptoms of ovulation, these pains will create a more accurate representation of your fertility.

Basal Body Temperature
Charting your basal body temperature(BBT) will let you chart the higher temperatures your body experiences before and during ovulation, and will therefore help you plot your days of ovulation.

Using a thermometer specially designated for measuring basal body temperature, take a reading at the beginning of each day, right after you get out of bed. Try to take the temperature around the same time each day - setting an alarm might help you be more accurate in your readings. Some basal thermometers will even beep to indicate a peak temperature reading.

Sex is perfectly safe during all months of pregnancy.

It is also ok to have sex during your period - but it can get pretty messy!

A woman can get pregnant at any time. It is most likely within several days of ovulation. It is possible, though, that she can even get pregnant while she is on her period. You should still use birth control (a condom) if you are on your period, just in case.
