Yes
They can be raised tame by human contact from birth. When this happens much of the time they see the human as there master. Much like a dog.
To tame a grown Dragon you have to impress it alot and fully show to it you are of no threat to it. It is very hard to do but It can be done. If you tame them when they are older they usually maintain alot of independence.

IF they existed, the answer would be "No". Mythologically, dragons are feral, magical creatures who would sooner eat a human than allow him to tame them. Dragons are infinitely more intelligent than humans, whom they regard as inferior to them. However, in such movies as "Dungeons & Dragons", dragons were tamed and ridden.

Similarly, in the "Dragonriders of Pern" series by Anne McCaffrey, dragon-taming and riding is possible. (The dragons here are actually genetically enhanced dragonets, which are a small indeginous lifeform capable of flying, teleporting, basic mind-reading, and fire-breathing.)

Taming dragons, though, is as fantastical as the movies/stories that demonstrate that they can be tamed.

If they existed in the first place, I am sure many people would keep them as pets. When they are newly hatched from their eggs, they become quite attached to you. The only problem being that they tend to set your curtains on fire, and it's difficult to wean them of that habit.

They are creatures of the wild. It is possible to befriend them, but they are wild.

Only way to tame one is to shove your arm up it's ***, bout elbow deep. Then tickle it's balls, presuming it's a male.
