I think that all parents considering circumcision should have to watch this video first.

What are your reactions to this? My friend guided me to this video. I found it shocking. She is a nurse and opted not to have her son circumcised. After seeing it I'm considering not doing so either.

i dont think parents should be making that decision for their sons. it's not their penis... it's their sons penis. i think it's barbaric and sick. why would i want to have a piece of my baby cut off? plus, i'm educated and understand the reason a male has a foreskin in the firstplace. i think the more educated the person the more they are aware of the benefits of leaving things as designed. As for eileens son (above) she wasn't there and didn't see the procedure. maybe he had worn himself out and become hopeless after his cries were not answer by the mother who he thought would protect him from harm. sad. thats just my opinion though. might make some people angry. cause the truth hurts.

I am an American, but I don't agree with circumcision at all. I live in Europe and they don't circumcise babies over here either. It's cruel since they do not use any anesthetic! It's UNNECESSARY. Everyone claims it's 'cleaner' and healthier BUT If men would wash their penis properly every day then there isn't any problem.

Circumcision is wrong! No baby boy should be subjected to such an excruciatingly painful and traumatic experience. There are so many myths about circumcision. The U.S. lags behind other countries when it comes to the units of measurement and circumcision. Circumcision does not make a boy or man healthier or cleaner. Diet, exercise, and bathing do. This unnecessary surgery is performed mainly for appearance. How superficial is that? Furthermore, accidents may happen. I say keep it natural and if your son later on wants to be circumcised, let it be his decision to make.

For a child it is a minor procedure
There is a study put out by the cancer centre of the us and women have a greater Chance of getting cervical cancer who's partner is not circumcised so for that reason I know five men (brothers ect) who chose to get it done as an adult and it was major surgery thirty stitches had to stay in hospital for two days and could not walk up right for a week and half they wished that they had it done as a child when they will not carry the memory

AS that video for shock value they put the worse one on

for every sugery there is a video of everything that can go wrong

most cases the child does not ever cry and if they do as soon as they are in mommas arms they go to sleep

I had both my boys circumcised. Yes I thought about it and yes I did not watch it. However they are a day old when they do it (I am sure neither remember it) and yes they do numb the area when they do it. I am sure it doesn't look good while getting done or feel great afterwards, but later in their lives I don't have to answer WHY I didn't have it done. Plus I know a person who didn't have it done as a child and had it done later in life. Their opinion was it really sucked to have it done later in life. Don't stress about it so much and do what you think is right, but don't try to convince me I did something wrong.

Did anyone else notice that the "screaming baby" photograph is of a totally different baby?
