To fulfill my purpose in life, it varies from person to person, that's sure enough. My personal purpose was to change as many people around me as I possibly can, in a possitive way, and in that way be a good example for others. That is the problem, the solution? To study medicine (for me, anyways). That way, by fulfilling my dream, or you, or anyone else, we can fullfill our lives and live plainly. I life cannot be about getting our pockets full of dirty green bills, because a millionaire might get depressed by losing .1% of his money on a bad investment, while the wise person can be happy by inviting a girl out to eat icecream with a couple of bucks.

That's not to say money is not important, but my advice is, see what money's real worth is and use it to your advantage. If doing what you dream can afford you luxuries, remember that you won't be satisfied by material things, but there is definitely no price to seeing a family that you can keep happy.

I guess there is no simple answer to this wonderful question. We should always try to ask ourselves this question, and answer it with the best answer we can, our lives depend on it.

Thank you for such a wonderful question, I hope my answer is anywhere near your expectations.
