Yes. Check if there's a voltage switch on the back of your computer. Should be rather small. Switch to 220V. Power plugs in SA are bigger and 3 pronged, so you also need to buy a new PC power cable in SA.

Computers in the US run on 110 volts so you would need to purchase a converter. They aren't expensive. Most things that are 220 volts in the US are things like heaters, etc. and require a different plug than the 110 volt outlets.

If it's dual voltage, or if you have a converter. Voltage in South Africa is 230-240 volts.

You may have to change the voltage in the power supply but other than that it should work just the same.

Well, my HP CPU, Worked in Israel, and I shipped the other one I had to Jordan, and I just plug the screen, and the tower into the wall, and they both work!
