Ok dumbass. THERE IS NO TURBO OR SUPERCHARGER KIT OUT FOR THE 2.4L!!!!! You are an idiot. If it was better to supercharge the 2.4 instead of the 2.0, I think gm woulda done that. The reason they didnt is because the 2.0 can handle more boost and higher compression levels than the 2.4L. It may be a smaller engine but the internals are stronger. the 2.0 head, rods, and block are suppose to be able to support up to almost 400hp. Granite there arent going to be many cobalts running that much HP, but its possible. If you knew something about cars, you would start building up your engine so that when they do release a turbo kit, your engine will be ready for it. What do i mean? Intake, racing cam, lightweight flywheel, spec 2+ clutch, exhaust (dont bother doing a header because if you go turbo you will need a different header) just to name a few. JBP has a kick *** stg 2 cam for the 2.4L. Maybe you should look in to it. I know a guy that has a 2.4L that will hang with stock 2.0's because he built up his engine so that when turbo kits come out, he will be ready. Next time research before you ask a stupid question, and get a cocky attitude.

First off, use the one from a 2.0 cobalt SS. It's an Eaton M62 roots style charger. As for the bigger engine problem, if you didn't do the research for the propper sized charger, you're an idiot and you should just leave your car stock. The M62 is a 62ci charger suitable for engines up to 4.0L, according to Eaton's website. When you up to the next larger size, the M90, you had better be using it for a drag application on an engine that small; it's designed for small V8's, as well as there being fitment issues in Cobalt that might have you altering the hood and radiator.

The charger for the 2.4 Quad 4 is like the Ecotec charger in the sense that it's incorporated into the intake manifold. You'd have tons of fitment issues. That and it's also a M62, there's no point for going with it if you don't want to use the 2.0 Ecotec charger.

Drop the attitude, and if you want to install something as major as forced induction, learn a little about it first so you don't blow your engine.

N GM 12498287 Supercharger 2.4L Twin Cam Supercharger (See page 169 of GMPP year 2002 catalog for details). (Page) 2,394.00
i know this is a later model, but it's as close as i know. I didn't think they were still using that dinosaur of an engine( if it's still what they used to call "the Quad 4") I've got it in a '99 malibu and olds introduced the design in the '80's

Well first off, there are no turbo kits available for the 2.4L yet. The reason is because they are having issues tuning the ecu on the 2.4 as well as the 2.2 ecotec. Secondly, you will not find a supercharger that will fit the 2.4 either. In my opinion, if you were planning on adding boost to a cobalt, you should have just bought the SS S/C that comes supercharged from the factory. The aftermarket for it is growing rapidly. Hahn racing is currently working on a turbo kit, but may not be available yet for the 2.4L Ecotec.
