The oil is already there, and no, Canada is not suspected of harboring WMD. Alberta tar sands are producing an increasing percentage of the world's oil supply.

Yes, if we started to make big mega bucks like the Middle East the U.S. would want part in that and use any excuse to try and conquer our nation. Money speaks very loudly.

If that ever happened, Canada may start to be looked at as a real country. Or.....maybe the U.S would just take it over. There's some good huntin' and fishin' up there!
