My finace and I have been bouncing from doctor to doctor...we need help! About 2 years ago she was diagnosed with endometriosis. Before she was diagnosed she and I both enjoyed having sex...but now it seems that it is to painful for her. She can not tollerate the pain...and it seems that she no longer gets any physical pleasure out of it. We are at the point where we are both ready to give up hope... Are there any types of medicine or lubricant....or anything???? that could possibly help us get our sex life back???

She doesn't necessarily need a hysterectomy, partial or otherwise; it is not a cure for Endometriosis and not helpful if any disease is left behind...furthermore, a D & C is not a treatment for Endometriosis. Secondly, Endometriosis is not "thickening of the uterine lining." It is the ectopic presence of aberrant tissue similar (but not exactly the same) to that which lines the uterus, found elsewhere in the body (most typically the pelvis). Orginally believed to be fragments of the endometrium (lining of the uterus), it is now known that Endometriosis implants in fact are histologically different from actual endometrial lining tissue. Nevertheless, proper and effective treatment with a surgeon who truly understands the disease and can meticulously excise it from all locations will offer the best and longest-lasting chance for symptomatic relief. Although there is no definitive cure for Endometriosis (including the old wive's tales that get circulated on here such as hysterectomy, pregnancy and menopause), excision with a specialist can be highly effective at resolving symptoms including pain, infertility, dyspareunia and more. See http://www.centerforendo.com, http://www.endocenter.org/pdf/2006ScreeningEducationKit.pdf, http://www.endometriosistreatment.org and for you specifically, MENDO (men who love women with Endo) at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/mendomen. There is also a helpful article online at http://www.hcgresources.com/dyspareunia.html which might be of benefit to you both in terms of tips, hints, tricks, etc. in the meanwhile. It is imperative that she obtain treatment sooner rather than later; she does not have to suffer this way - help is out there. Good luck to you both.
