Fedora can be downloaded from:

Red Hat is enterprise only and cannot be downloaded free.
Many people prefer Ubuntu which can be downloaded here:

If you don't have a problem with the current Novell Microsoft agreement, SUSE is also a very good distribution available at:

linux is not low level, most web servers run on linux, its not difficult to learn, i has loads of support, most hardware is auto-detected and configured without the need to search the web for drivers and limited software - ha, i have thousands in my repositories, all supported and stable, its free because its free (free as in no money paid, free as in freedom), its licenced under gpl which is general public licence, that means that the general public can change the code to make it better, its also computing how computing should be, the user is in control not the operating system, or some company in redmond try using linux - its free so what do you have to lose

You mentionned redhat and someone mentionned centos.
I'll just add that centos is the same as Redhat Enterprise Linux without the copyright.
On that site you can download freely a DVD iso file.
Then burn a DVD from it using Nero for example and you are done.

Redhat Enterprise (or Centos) is a professional Linux for companies.
Fedora comes from Linux and is the distribution for homes.
