I used to throw ants in those little pits where it's too sandy for them to climb out and I'd watch that thing eat them (I've never actually seen that thing has anyone?). That was pretty furious.

I do not understand how that incident of your throwing ants into pits is related to nature's fury !!! But nature is and can be immensely furious and powerful, much more than human beings can imagine. Some good examples are tornadoes, earthquakes, flashfloods, volcanoes, typhoons, and sunamies (like we had recently in India)......
