Saddam has long history of confrontation with USA. By attacking Kuwait he lost the support of Arab countries. Long term sanctions have badly affected Iraqi people. Bush wanted a democratic and peaceful Iraq. Saddam has been punished by his own people. Actually after loosing his post, life has no meaning for him. He has spent his last days comfortably in American custody. Bush has helped Saddam in his last days till death otherwise he may have been tortured by his opponents.

Why would Iraq wants Saddam to be hanged on a Good day itself for a muslim?? Is there someone who ask him to. . hmm like Bush? Even though he killed inoocent people, i am a muslim and feels he should at least finish his prayers. Everyone will go thought death. He killed innocent people but what about Bush? Looked what happened to Iraq, Afghanistan? Are their life getting better? Don't think so. Getting bad to worse after the war. Bush wants to help? Help in getting what? Why not help people in Sudan, Bosnia, and many more . . they need help too.. . Bush hanged Saddam coz of family. . which his father wanted to and agreed to humilate muslims. . Saddam did wrong and now dead, what about others whose crimes are covered with good plans in the news, pointing and blaming others. . what will happen to them? God knows and justice will be there. . .not today but someday.

you just cant leave everything to God - akband - its time we came out of our little cave of ignorance and superstition and faced the facts in our face. jaypea - I live in Dubai and people here hate Bush. Saddam & Osama Bin Laden are heroes and martyrs here. I'm a Bush hater - i havent got my head chopped off. Maybe the figures given are wrong but the point is - Bush is a criminal and he should be tried for massacre in the International Court of Justice, and so should Ariel Sharon (he ordered the Shattla and Shabila massacre in Palestine)

Speaking of "Bullsheet", where do you get your information?. Saddam was tried, found guilty, sentenced to death and executed by Iraqis according with their law.

Umm, you have your facts seriously wrong. Bush had NOTHING to do with Saddam's hanging. This was done by the people of Iraq.

because saddam killed alot of innocent ppl, so he should die 4 crimes against humanity, they would of done the same thing with hitler, but he committed suicide. Sides, it wasn't bush or any americans, it was hes own ppl, the iraqis.
