is there a B.S. in art? I have a BSME but I want to do 3D modeling in a more creative and expressive field. Also, what are the steps do get back into school? I get the feeling they dont want you back after graduating the first time.

Look into the Graphics Arts Departments .. and this is a BA degree and NOT a Bachelor's of Science.

IF this is the same school you obtained your original Bachelor's Degree from, it should be simply a matter of just updating your information in the computer through the Registrar's (or counseling) offices. There may or may not be a fee to do this (Depending on the school's policies).

IF it is a different college (than where you got your original Bachelor's from), then you will need to apply at that institution .. and there may or may not be a fee there.

You will also have to discuss the class fees with the Financial Aid department because AFTER you do complete your Bachelor's Degree ... there are different aspects of Financial Aid ... and some that were previously available to you may now be closed off.

I dont think there is a B.S. Art degree. Every art related degree is BA. If you want to do 3D modeling, you should get a BA in graphic design or animation.

I dont know the exact steps, but you could try and apply for admission at the school that you want to go to.

You just tell them you want to get your second Bachelor degree. And I'm pretty sure the BS in art you are wanting is called a BA. I am pretty sure they do not do a BS in art, but I may be wrong. You just meet with an advisor, and they'll let you know what classes you need in order to get your second Bachelor degree, since the BA and BS have different requirements.

I'm not sure how getting a second degree works in other countries..but in the United States they will welcome you with open arms. My dad is 50 and he just got this second Masters from a University. And just see what school's have the major you like and then call them and tell them. I have heard of B.A in Arts not B.S.
