my older sister has blue and my younger sister has green eyes??? most of my relatives have green or blue eyes. My mum says i get my eyes from my dad who has brown eyes but, i get confused as both of my sisters have pale eyes, and they are also natural blondes, and my mum is also a natural blonde, but i'm the only natural brunette with olive skin, and im more shapely then my sisters, as they are naturally thin, : ( why am i so different to them??

Well, my mother, father and sister have brown hair and brown/green eyes. I'm a blonde with blue eyes. I feel out of the picture too.

It's normal though. You... me. All normal.

And when it comes to size: My parents and I are average sized whereas my sister is very slender.

When it comes to height: My sister and parents are kind of tall and I'm petite.

*laughs* strange family huh?

My baby brother is pale skined, blue eyed and bleach blonde hair. My sister has dishwater blond hair, green eyes and is tan, and also skinny as a pole. I have dark brown eyes, dark brown hair, my skin is rosy pink. My parents both have tannish skin, green eyes and my mom has light brown hair and my dad red.

Genetics are weird things, dont worry, your not the milkman's kid and your not adopted.

You would only have a reason to worry if your Dad's eyes were blue. It's totally normal for siblings to vary quite a lot. My cousins for examples are very different - the oldest sister is very dark - brunette with tanned skin and dark eyes. She is also very slender. Her younger sister is much shorter, with strawberry blonder hair and very pale skin, pale blue eyes and freckles. She is also quite stocky.

The reason for this is that eye colour is passed down differently than other genes. My memory's a little fuzzy on the subject, but I believe that because eye colour is linked to alleles it is passed down differently. Odd hazel eyes crop up in my family occassionally; the rest of my immediate family is brown-eyed save me, I'm hazel. Doesn't really mean anything.

Per Biology brown/dark eyes are dominant. Two of my grandparents had blue eyes, one of them green and the other brown; all kids brown eyes BUT some of the grand kids blue, green, light brown and dark brown. Get it?

not something incorrect each so often that happends in a kin somebody else had a shade such as that. I studied this EX. in the experience that your total kin had purple hair and your born with brown hair that only skill that your genetics had somebody who had brown hair at a time. verify your ansestors

So, my older sis looks mexican and has med-dark skin and wavy hair and is plus size. I am plus size and have pale skin, extremely curly hair and hazel eyes. The youngest has very dark skin, looks almost black with kinky hair and very dark eyes and is so dang skinny! We all have the same mom and dad. It just happens that way. Or...your mom cheated.

Sometimes that happens! Genetics are crazy and certain traits on a family's gene pool may be passed on randomly, even generations apart
