Closer by all realistic ways of looking at things. No worries tho. Our world may end, but others will go on, and That's the Important bit. Sure we die as Individuals, but so long as we survive as a species and our genes are carried to the next generation, just as those self same genes have been passed down for countless generations, It's all worth it. We are not here for ourselves, we are here for those to come, so that they can make the world better, just as we are trying to.

Enjoy

I think about this a lot. I am going to die in about 60 years (meaning I will be about 76, this is just a rough estimate). If you think ahead and really examine things you can really weird yourself out. Just like I try to think of what technology will be like when I am 40. My mom is 40 now, and when she was little color tvs weren't that old. Weird.

But no, the world won't end that soon. People are starting to realize what will happen if we keep up our ways and they are correcting them. Yay us.

yea..interesting concept...but the americans wouldnt undestand that..they dominate the world..they believe that by conquering the whole world and drinking the available oil, they would achieve immortality...So since not much middle eastern oil is available, some of the dumb americans began drinking cooking oil, which caused US to be the fattest nation...how ironic, immortality but accompanied by stupidity...great..but not so after all...

Just try not to think about it. The end of the world won't be that soon. At least I'm pretty sure it won't be. But yeah... Don't think about it. You're only making yourself and other negative and sad by talkign about it.

you said WE'LL die, not the world. it'll still be where it is. the world's end is not in 120 yrs, but our end is within 120yrs. there's the difference.

Yes because we have no way to avoid radioactive contamination which we cannot dispose of but where still using it. The only way to do this is to blast it into space. That's to costly for our measly human lives

Yes, this is obvious. Not even Jesus lived on Earth forever. We can only hope to do our best in those 120yrs.

It doesn't matter, really.
I bet everyone here on this thread would be too dead to be concerned about that by then.
