I don't know the exact circumstances. Do you live with them? Are your nephews living with you? Why are you having to watch out for them?

If they will not listen you need to walk away. This is not your problem or your responsibility. They are not your kids. Insist that his parents become involved.

So you are the one left in charge of these two juvenile deliquents? Take charge of your life and theirs.
Lay down the law.

Don't leave late at night and NEVER leave them alone. Why is the 14 year old allowed to leave the house after dark?If the 14 year old comes in late, TELL HIS MOM. You're the one in charge while she is gone, RIGHT?

And by the way, you are NOT the good aunt if you are keeping his late night wanderings a secret.

Last, you need to ditch the so-called friends of yours. It sounds as though they are contributing to the deliquency of a couple of minors over at your house.

why is someone who is 17- 18 in charge of a 14 year old? 14 year olds don't need much supervision other than their parents. He doesn't need a babysitter.

are you just babysitting them? If so, then don't blame yourself. Sounds like you tried and if they don't listen to you... there's nothing more you can do except maybe tell their parents about it if its something REAL terrible. It's their responsiblity.

You need to tell your sister. Sounds like they are taking advantage of you by doing what they want to do. n
