Thank god for editing in the studio and lip-synching on stage (so long as they don't get caught). ;)

In the not-so-old days, singers had to be really good and if they were in a band, they were all suppossed to know how to sing (in case the lead singer quits or something).
Old music was good coz' they didn't always sound the same.
Nowadays, with all the technology, they can hide all the imperfections... which is quite unfair to the ones who really know how to sing.
The voice is super modified and it's ok even if you don't really know how to sing. You just rely on the technology.

It's sad how singers with little or no talent can be famous thanks to editing in studios, but I guess that's life. I just hope that the singers with talent and ambition can be just as famous.
